It’s that time of the year again – October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Magic 95.9’s Pink Stars is walking with Susan G. Komen in the Race For The Cure on Sunday, October 21. Come out to meet Tim, Lolo, Mykel, Randy, Civ and the whole Magic 95.9 crew.
If you are unable to walk or run, please make a donation to the cause. Our goal is just $5,000 but we’re sure you can do much better than that Baltimore!

How long is the Race for the Cure?
Race for the Cure offers a 5K (3.1 miles) competitive run (timed), a 5K recreational run, a 5K walk, and a 1 mile family fun walk.

Start: Shawan Road east of McCormick Road towards York Road (all events start at this point, both the 1 mile and 5k run/walk)(1 Mile ends @ Schilling and McCormick Roads)

What time do I need to be there for the Race?
The Race Village opens at 6 a.m. Arrive early for the closest parking and to register the morning of the Race. (See below for additional information on parking).

What are the registration deadlines?
Mail in: Monday, September 24, 2012 (teams and individuals) if you want t-shirt mailed.
Online: Tuesday, October 2, 2012 if you want your t-shirt mailed. Otherwise, on-line registration stays open until 12 pm October 20, 2012 and shirts will need to be picked up at walk-up registration or on Race day.

Can I bring my dog to the Race?
For safety reasons (both the participants and your dogs) we ask that you not bring your dog to the Race.
Can I bring a stroller?
Strollers are permitted in the 1 Mile Family Fun Walk only
Do children have to register for the Race?
For safety and liability reasons, all people participating in the Race should be registered. Children register for Kids for the Cure® for $10 before Race Day and for $15 on Race Day.
